This triangular pocket watch measures 2.4" x 1.9" x .38" and features alloy steel construction with an antique silver finish. The outer case is adorned with the unbroken chain of Brotherly Love and Affection symbol of the Freemasons. The face of the watch replaces the standard Roman numeral hour marks with symbols and imagery unique to the Rites of Freemasonry. This truly distinctive timepiece includes a coordinating gift box. To replace battery pull on the notch located on the back of the watch at the top of the triangle then the back will open where the battery is located. This pocket watch came in two days. I ordered it on a Friday evening and it got here on Monday. It was packaged in a really nice presentation box and the chain is sturdier than on the cheap pocket watches you can get in those discount market stores.
The detail in the embossed case is remarkably sharp and the tools images are crisp and high quality themselves. There aren't any sharp edges to catch anywhere in your pockets (one of the things I was wondering about) and the finish really is durable. The front glass could be a durable medium of some kind of polymer although I have a hard time distinguishing it from glass and is thick and resistant to scuffs and scratches.
Eye catching and interesting piece to own.

I bought this watch as a present for my nephew in Cuba. He was really delighted with it. It is very elaborate as to the symbology it shows. I'm absolutely satisfied.

Looking to add a little Masonic magic into your life without a trip to the local lodge? This pocketwatch might just be the ticket. The outside shell is especially shiny and has the square-and-compass. Pop it open and you've got a different symbol for each hour of the day. I'm not sure if the exact layout is a copy of an older Masonic watch face or not, but it looks nice and the watch itself keeps amazingly accurate time considering the price.
I got the watch as a gift a few months back and have used it once in a while when I attend an event where I'm wearing a vest and want to make a bit of an impression. It's definitely a conversation piece, and a good gift for anyone who's interested in Freemasonry. Given how shiny it is, I also imagine this would be a great prop watch for a stage magician who does hypnosis as part of his act. It would definitely be visible under the stage lights!
The 'gift box' is basically an ordinary box with a lovely removable lining on the inside with contact paper on the outside. The glue wore out too quickly and the paper lifted, revealing that the box has no true hinge. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

I purchased this watch as a curiosity item -- it looked nice on the website. The actual watch is even nicer than the website image -- excellent details, unusual shape, nice fob. In fact, I will need to get another watch because my daughter has decided she wants this one! I'm no expert on Masonic symbols so I can't comment on the authenticity of the markings on the watch.
